Aristocrash

Aristocrash was a final year Graduate project to create a stylised beat em up co-op game. My time in the project lead to to create the characters, along with some environment assets, as well as the design briefs and particle effects.

Dillyn the spider is fully game ready enemy, Dillyn’ cute style comes from a high polygon model, containing lots of details for the rocks edges. The emissive textures were created to move in engine to simulate lava.

Ian the rat enemy is fully game ready, his colours were made to be visible in a grassy environments. Ian’s stylised features were based off the main character, who’s over the top features set the standard for the future of the creatures design principles.

Brian has three main costumes: Wizard, Knight, and Rogue, all with the ability to remove and attach different clothing. Each character contains 4,804 polygons, given the possible uses of Brian for low polygon phone games.

Kalarm the Rock Creature is a stylized mini boss game ready with the option to move all the rocks in the scene individually. When fully implemented Kalarm fired his rocks like waves and had different stages to the fight.
